Los biorreactores de membrana son una tecnolog\u00eda emergente para el tratamiento de aguas residuales, que combina el cl\u00e1sico tratamiento de fangos activados con la filtraci\u00f3n mediante membranas. En esta tesis se han analizado el proceso en las tres modalidades existentes: municipales, industriales y descentralizados, proponiendo diversas mejoras seg\u00fan el ambito de
