De forma paralela, con la aparici\u00f3n de las redes de sensores inal\u00e1mbricas, existe una demanda creciente de antenas miniatura que funcionen integradas en un determinado entorno. el hecho de integrar las antenas comporta ciertas restricciones y limitaciones. es por ello, que se requiere un conocimiento detallado del comportamiento de estas antenas dentro de su entorno. La tesis que aqu\u00ed se presenta tiene como objetivo principal analizar de forma extensa el efecto de integrar una antena en un cierto material. Con esta finalidad, se discuten y proponen nuevas soluciones como por ejemplo el dise\u00f1o de antenas utilizando nuevos materiales, as\u00ed como el desarrollo de t\u00e9cnicas de caracterizaci\u00f3n de antenas miniatura integradas. en la primera parte de la tesis se han implementado diferentes m\u00e9todos para la correcta caracterizaci\u00f3n de materiales tanto diel\u00e9ctricos como conductores, los cuales se utilizan para el dise\u00f1o de antenas integradas. En particular, se ha destinado un especial esfuerzo al estudio del efecto de la fibra de carbono (cfrp) como material para la fabricaci\u00f3n de antenas. En la tesis se propone y explica detalladamente un ejemplo de antena fabricada con cfrp. Este dise\u00f1o ha sido pensado para sustituir las antenas monopolos (blade antennas) utilizadas en aplicaciones aeron\u00e1uticas. en la segunda parte de la tesis se ha estudiado una t\u00e9cnica de caracterizaci \u00f3n inal\u00e1mbrica no invasiva para la medida de antenas miniatura integradas. con este m\u00e9todo ya no es necesario el empleo de los tradicionales cables de medida, lo que
