Se pretende valorar las repercusiones que la misma provoca sobre poblaciones de trabajadores expuestos a contaminaci\u00f3n ac\u00fastica de distinta intensidad, con especial atenci\u00f3n en el sector naval. As\u00ed como los medios para corregir y subsanar este problema.  en el planteamiento del estudio se desarrollan los conceptos ac\u00fasticos b\u00e1sicos y los tipos de niveles utilizados. Se hace especial hincapi\u00e9 en los efectos provocados por el ruido en los trabajadores expuestos, as\u00ed como en la normativa tanto espa\u00f1ola como europea. Se muestran los equipos de medida utilizados para la comprobaci\u00f3n de los niveles de presi\u00f3n sonora. Se analizan las fuentes de ruido y las medidas para su control en la industria y en particular en el sector naval. Se detallan los protectores auditivos, necesarios cuando las medidas de protecci\u00f3n colectiva no consiguen rebajar los niveles ac\u00fasticos a los establecidos en la legislaci\u00f3n.  se lleva a cabo la investigaci\u00f3n experimental en unos astilleros de referencia situados en la r\u00eda de ferrol, estableciendo una serie de conclusiones y proponiendo recomendaciones para reducir los niveles y por tanto los efectos del ruido sobre los trabajadores expuestos.  por \u00faltimo se extraen conclusiones generales y se plantean a su vez futuras l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n que han
