Por otro lado, un total de cincuenta y cuatro caballos adultos -machos, castrados y hembras- sin signos de lesi\u00f3n ni historial de cojeras se destinaron al an\u00e1lisis ecogr\u00e1fico, que incluy\u00f3 el valor num\u00e9rico del \u00e1rea de todas las estructuras analizadas. De cada ejemplar se tomaron los datos relativos a su alzada y peso, as\u00ed como las medidas de la longitud, anchura y grosor de la primera falange. Independientemente de que se estableci\u00f3 la correspondiente correlaci\u00f3n anat\u00f3mica entre la disecci\u00f3n, representaci\u00f3n de los cortes seriados y la ecograf\u00eda de los tendones de los m\u00fasculos flexores digitales superficial y profundo, y ligamentos sesamoideos recto y oblicuos, con la base de datos obtenida se elaboraron las tablas al efecto y se realiz\u00f3 el an\u00e1lisis estad\u00edstico pertinente. los resultados obtenidos, presentados en esta memoria con profusi\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes para la parte de anatom\u00eda-ecograf\u00eda y con tablas y gr\u00e1ficos para la parte estad\u00edstica, ponen de manifiesto la complejidad anat\u00f3mica de la cara palmar de la regi\u00f3n compedal (cuartilla) del caballo, circunstancia que es ampliamente
