Para ello es necesario calcular la posici\u00f3n y orientaci\u00f3n del observador que permita configurar la c\u00e1mara virtual que renderiza los objetos virtuales en su posici\u00f3n exacta. Este problema es conocido como tracking, y aunque existen varias alternativas para su resoluci\u00f3n, usando diferentes sensores, el tracking \u00f3ptico es la soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s popular. No obstante, el tracking \u00f3ptico es un problema no resuelto. esta tesis presenta un estudio de los m\u00e9todos de tracking \u00f3ptico existentes y propone mejoras en algunos de ellos, especialmente en aquellos que son tiempo real. M\u00e1s concretamente, se analizan en profundidad los m\u00e9todos de tracking \u00f3ptico monocular con marcadores y los m\u00e9todos de tracking \u00f3ptico monocular basado en el modelo (sin marcadores). Las mejoras se han propuesto teniendo en cuenta las caracter\u00edsticas de los entornos industriales, que carecen de textura. el tracking \u00f3ptico monocular con marcadores no soporta oclusiones, por lo que este trabajo propone dos soluciones: (1) un nuevo m\u00e9todo de tracking basado en coherencia temporal, y (2) un nuevo dise\u00f1o de marcador. Ambas soluciones consiguen mayor robustez ante oclusiones sin necesidad de adecuar m\u00e1s el entorno. Asimismo, el tracking \u00f3ptico monocular basado en el modelo no funciona correctamente en escenas poco texturadas, por lo que esta tesis propone un m\u00e9todo de reconocimiento 3d que inicializa el tracking usando caracter\u00edsticas geom\u00e9tricas en vez de textura, y un m\u00e9todo de tracking que combina m\u00faltiples caracter\u00edsticas visuales para actualizarse. este documento tambi\u00e9n detalla el sistema de realidad aumentada desarrollado para la ayuda en operaciones de desmontaje.
