Gardner, para centrarse espec\u00edficamente en la musical -a la que se ha denominado inmu- sobre la que no abundan las investigaciones en los medios cient\u00edficos espa\u00f1oles, aunque exi ste un inter\u00e9s creciente hacia su tem\u00e1tica.  partiendo de que la inteligencia musical es una inteligencia espec\u00edfica, distinta de las dem\u00e1s, aunque relacionada de alg\u00fan modo con ellas, y que su educaci\u00f3n y cultivo contribuye al desarrollo de la perso nalidad y a las capacidades cognitivas de un sujeto, se han recorrido cuatro itinerarios de b\u00fasqueda, tomando como protagonistas-sujetos de la investigaci\u00f3n a los adolescentes.  entre los objetivos de la tesis se ha tratado de identificar actitudes q ue potencia la pr\u00e1ctica musical en los adolescentes, resaltando de modo especial la importancia del autoconcepto musical. As\u00ed mismo, se han identificado habilidades y destrezas, a modo de indicadores de inmu en un sujeto. En el aspecto de la educaci\u00f3 n musical, se han destacado actitudes docentes y estrategias did\u00e1cticas que potencian y estimulan la inmu en los estudiantes.   la metodolog\u00eda, principalmente cualitativa, se ha desarrollado a trav\u00e9s de cuatro itinerarios de an\u00e1lisis de la realidad: la de los adolescentes de secundaria cuando cursan la m\u00fasica escolar, la de los adolescentes que estudian un instrumento musical, la de los profesores de m\u00fasica en secundaria y la de los expertos en el campo musical. Las t\u00e9cnicas utilizadas han sido de tipo cualitativo: observaci\u00f3n participante, entrevistas, r\u00edo musical y panel delphi, y alguna de tipo cuantitativo, como el cuestionario, por lo que tambi\u00e9n se puede hablar de una metodolog\u00eda con investigaci\u00f3n mixta.  la autora de la presente tesi s espera contribuir con ella al fortalecimiento de la educaci\u00f3n musical en
