La bioimpedancia el\u00e9ctrica permite caracterizar las condiciones fisiol\u00f3gicas y eventos que son interesantes para la investigaci\u00f3n fisiol\u00f3gica y el diagn\u00f3stico m\u00e9dico. La principal debilidad de la bioimpedancia el\u00e9ctrica es que depende de muchos par\u00e1metros fisiol\u00f3gicos aunque es conveniente para muchas aplicaciones m\u00e9dicas, donde las mediciones m\u00ednimamente invasiva y en tiempo real con implementaciones simples y pr\u00e1cticas son necesarios.   las t\u00e9cnicas de espectroscop\u00eda de impedancia el\u00e9ctrica (eis) basadas en excitaciones de espectro ensanchado se espera que ayuden a entender varios problemas sin resolver en aplicaciones biom\u00e9dicas. Dicha t\u00e9cnica abre la posibilidad de reducir dr\u00e1sticamente el tiempo de medici\u00f3n para la adquisici\u00f3n de ebi tiempo variaciones , pero, al mismo tiempo, medir en un corto per\u00edodo de tiempo pone en peligro la precisi\u00f3n de las medidas. La manera de superar esta p\u00e9rdida intr\u00ednseca de precisi\u00f3n se basa en el dise\u00f1o de la propiedades temporales y espectrales de la se\u00f1al inyectada y su correcto posterior an\u00e1lisis espectral para el procesamiento de los datos.  la tesis presentada trata los temas relacionados con el estudio de las excitaciones de banda ancha para espectroscop\u00eda de impedancia en aplicaciones biom\u00e9dicas y, m\u00e1s espec\u00edfica, la influencia de la excitaci\u00f3n sobre la precisi\u00f3n del espectro de impedancia y su optimizaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, se ha presentado un avanzado m\u00e9todo r\u00e1pido de procesamiento de se\u00f1al para datos de ebi con influencia de transitorios, una situaci\u00f3n com\u00fan en la medici\u00f3n en un corto tiempo de medici\u00f3n. A pesar de ser el objetivo de aplicar todo este conocimiento para monitorear la regeneraci\u00f3n del tejido del miocardio, en el momento de la redacci\u00f3n de la tesis, ninguno de los proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n que han apoyado esta tesis han culminado con tejido funcional. Por ese motivo, la teor\u00eda presentada ha sido validado por un conjunto de medidas experimentales en animales y pacientes en los que el espectro de impedancia var\u00edan con el tiempo las
