Esta herramienta ha sido desarrollada para ayudar a los dise\u00f1adores de veleros a optimizar el dise\u00f1o, as\u00ed como para ayudar a la tripulaci\u00f3n en tiempo real, a maximizar el rendimiento del velero. Con este fin, se ha desarrollado un algoritmo de interacci\u00f3n fluido- estructura (fsi) para calcular el rendimiento de una configuraci\u00f3n particular de la jarcia y la arboladura. El programa est\u00e1 concebido para calcular en cuasi tiempo real con el fin de poder ser usado durante la navegaci\u00f3n. Por esta raz\u00f3n el principal requerimiento del programa ser\u00e1 el bajo coste computacional. A fin de cumplir el requerimiento de bajo coste computacional se ha restringido el c\u00e1lculo a condiciones de navegaci\u00f3n en ce\u00f1ida y se ha implementado un solver de flujo potencial para el c\u00e1lculo aerodin\u00e1mico. El solver de flujo est\u00e1 unido a un solver basado en el m\u00e9todo de los elementos finitos (fem) para el an\u00e1lisis estructural de la respuesta de las velas y la jarcia. Durante la operaci\u00f3n del velero, la tripulaci\u00f3n trima la jarcia y las velas, obteniendo una configuraci\u00f3n din\u00e1mica de la estructura. Dentro de este trabajo ha sido desarrollada una herramienta para monitorizar de manera din\u00e1mica las velas y la jarcia. La herramienta de monitorizaci\u00f3n ha sido adaptada para obtener las condiciones de contorno del c\u00e1lculo aerodin\u00e1mico y estructural, bas\u00e1ndose en lo que se denominar\u00e1 los par\u00e1metros de trimado. Una vez conocida la configuraci\u00f3n actual de la estructura, es posible calcular el rendimiento de esta nueva configuraci\u00f3n haciendo uso del algoritmo de interacci\u00f3n fluido-estructura. El programa de c\u00e1lculo resultante, desarrollado en esta tesis, consiste en la integraci\u00f3n de las dos herramientas anteriormente mencionadas: una herramienta de an\u00e1lisis fsi para las
