Se presentan resultados obtenidos con diferentes t\u00e9cnicas experimentales, entre ellas stm (microscop\u00eda de efecto t\u00fanel), arpes (espectroscopia de fotoemisi\u00f3n con resoluci\u00f3n angular). El inter\u00e9s de este estudio radica en la posibilidad de manipular a escala manom\u00e9trica  la estructura geom\u00e9trica en la superficie de un metal, mediante la creaci\u00f3n de estructuras peri\u00f3dicas, tales como redes de dislucaciones, que a su vez dan lugar a cambios radicales en la estructura electr\u00f3nica de la superficie. Los sistemas que se presentan son ag sobre estructura electr\u00f3nica de la superficie. Los sistemas que se presentan son son ag sobre cu(111), y au sobre ni(111) ya que estos materiales poseen estados electr\u00f3nicos que interaccionan intensamente con la superficie nanostructurada.
