El estudio parte de una lectura interpretativa de la filmograf\u00eda que alcanz\u00f3 mayor popularidad en la sociedad espa\u00f1ola entre la guerra civil y 1982, destacando la capacidad del s\u00e9ptimo arte no s\u00f3lo para reflejar un imaginario colectivo sino tambi\u00e9n para colaborar activamente en su construcci\u00f3n.Si bien la base documental abarca un periodo m\u00e1s extenso, la tesis dedica una especial atenci\u00f3n a los a\u00f1os sesenta y al relato del cambio desarrollista, y valora la forma en la que el cine proyect\u00f3 este clima de transformaci\u00f3n y sus consecuencias en la evoluci\u00f3n de ls relaciones de g\u00e9nero. Se exploran as\u00ed los significados de figuras paradigm\u00e1ticas de la cultura de esta d\u00e9cada: la imagen del paleto, de la feliz ama de casa, de la chica yey\u00e9, o del macho ib\u00e9rico, entre otros.La investigaci\u00f3n aborda no \u00fanicamente el estudio de modelos normativos de masculinidad y feminidad, sino que realiza tambi\u00e9n lecturas alternativas de aquellos relatos
