Las alas son de menor tama\u00f1o, presentan venas transversales ect\u00f3picas y en ocasiones pierden parcialmente el margen posterior. Adem\u00e1s se detectan transformaciones parciales del halterio a ala y del primer segmento tor\u00e1cico en segundo.  2,- el elemento p-lacw, responsable de la mutaci\u00f3n, se encuentra insertado en el intr\u00f3n de mayor tama\u00f1o del gen absent, small or homeotic discs-2 (ash-2). El mutante 1(3)112411 es un alelo hipomorfo, mientras que el alelo ash-211, letal en fase de pupa, es probablemente un alelo de falta de funci\u00f3n (nulo).  3,- el an\u00e1lisis clonal de los alelos 1(3)112411 y ash-2 11 demuestra que los clones homozigotos para estas mutaciones en el ala provocan una reducci\u00f3n dr\u00e1stica de las regiones de intervena, un ensanchamiento de las venas (a excepci\u00f3n de la vena l4), la disrupci\u00f3n de la morfolog\u00eda de las c\u00e9lulas del borde del ala y la aparici\u00f3n de efectos no aut\u00f3nomos celulares. en muchos casos, los tricomas que presentan las c\u00e9lulas que constituyen el clon son m\u00faltiples. Los clones homozigotos para la mutaci\u00f3n en la pata provocan la desaparici\u00f3n de los peines tarsales, la reducci\u00f3n en la longitud e incremento de la amplitud de la extremidad y anomal\u00edas en las articulaciones de las patas.  4,- ash-2 parece esta implicado en el mantenimiento de la condici\u00f3n de intervena, actuando de forma directa o indirecta sobre la expresi\u00f3n de blistered e interaccionando con las rutas de los genes  plexus y crossveinless-2.  5,- los alelos 1(3)112411 y ash-2  11 se comportan como alelos cl\u00e1sicos de ash-2, modificando el fenotipo asociado al alelo antp ns y regulando de forma positiva la expresi\u00f3n de ubx.  en conjunto, los datos muestran que el gen<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
