Presentan unos valores de metabolismo aer\u00f3bico menores junto a unos bajos valores de frecuencia card\u00edaca m\u00e1xima. Tambi\u00e9n presentan menores niveles de fuerza. La obesidad es muy prevalente en poblaci\u00f3n con sd. Poco se conoce sobre el efecto que produce la participaci\u00f3n en actividades deportivas en esta poblaci\u00f3n.  planteamientos y objetivos  obtener unos valores de referencia en poblaci\u00f3n catalana con sd, dise\u00f1ar y validar un protocolo de prueba de esfuerzo sobre cinta ergom\u00e9trica en esta poblaci\u00f3n y comparar dos subgrupos de la muestra (uno activo y uno sedentario). Finalmente, estudiar una posible incompetencia cronotr\u00f3pica (ic) para comprender mejor la respuesta de la fc 1 esfuerzo.  material y m\u00e9todo  el estudio se realiz\u00f3 en el centro de valoraci\u00f3n funcional de la emefyd de la universidad de barcelona con una muestra de 20 adultos con sd., De down. Se estudi\u00f3 el consumo m\u00e1ximo de ox\u00edgeno (vop2max), fuerza isom\u00e9trica y composici\u00f3n corporal en un grupo activo (n=13; edad=23,5 a\u00f1os) y otro sedentario (n=7; edad = 25,8 a\u00f1os). El grupo activo hab\u00eda entrenado una media de 4horas\/por semana durante al menos 1 a\u00f1o, y el grupo sedentario no hab\u00eda realizado ning\u00fan tipo de actividad f\u00edsica. Ambos grupos realizaron pruebas de laboratorio que incluyeron prueba de esfuerzo en treadmill con obtenci\u00f3n de par\u00e1metros metab\u00f3licos; fuerza isom\u00e9trica; composici\u00f3n corporal; y fuerza explosiva (test de bosco).  resultados  la composici\u00f3n corporal no fue diferente entre grupos (imc = 26 vs 28,2 y %grasa = 22,3 vs 25 para activos y sedentarios). El vo2max fue significativamente mayor en activos (34,9 ml\/kg\/min) comparado a los sedentarios (28,1 ml\/kg\/min) (p&lt;05).
