Su principal objetivo es conocer la percepci\u00f3n de esfuerzo (rpe) de los jugadores y jugadoras alevines de minibasket durante la competici\u00f3n. La muestra seleccionada (n = 150), son los ni\u00f1os (n = 67) y ni\u00f1as (n = 83) participantes en la fase final del campeonato de gipuzkoa alev\u00edn. El instrumento seleccionado para medir dicha percepci\u00f3n, ha sido la escala pict\u00f3rica de eston-parfitt (e-p), ya que se ha demostrado como un instrumento v\u00e1lido, fiable, ecol\u00f3gico y adaptado a la poblaci\u00f3n infantil. El registro de datos se realiz\u00f3 durante la fase final del campeonato de gipuzkoa, la cual se desarroll\u00f3 en tres fines de semana consecutivos del mes de mayo de 2010, disput\u00e1ndose los cuartos de final, semifinal y final, tanto masculino como femenino. Los jugadores y jugadoras de minibasket deb\u00edan expresar la rpe al finalizar cada periodo de partido disputado, teniendo en cuenta, la normativa espec\u00edfica de competici\u00f3n. De esta forma, se obtuvo una rpe por periodo de participaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como una rpemedia del partido. Igualmente, se solicit\u00f3 a los entrenadores la rpe de sus jugadores y jugadoras al finalizar el encuentro.Los resultados de los an\u00e1lisis estad\u00edsticos indican que los participantes, expresaron una rpemedia = 4.41 \u00c2\u00b1 1.61, situ\u00e1ndose la tendencia de los valores medios de cada periodo entre rpe= 4 y rpe= 5, con una desviaci\u00f3n t\u00edpica entre 1.60 y 1.95, lo que corresponder\u00eda a un esfuerzo entre \u00c2\u00bfmoderado\u00c2\u00bf y \u00c2\u00bffuerte\u00c2\u00bf, no presentando diferencias significativas en funci\u00f3n de g\u00e9nero. Del mismo modo, se encontraron diferencias significativas (p < .01) en funci\u00f3n de la victoria o derrota, presentando una rpe m\u00e1s alta aquellos equipos que perd\u00edan el cuarto o el partido.En un an\u00e1lisis posterior, se realiz\u00f3 una regresi\u00f3n log\u00edstica, con el objetivo de modelar la asociaci\u00f3n entre variables y calcular las odds ratio (or), con un intervalo de confianza al 95%, obteniendo que el 32% de la variabilidad observada en la rpemedia del partido, se producen en funci\u00f3n de las variables: duraci\u00f3n de la sesi\u00f3n de entrenamiento, n\u00c2\u00ba de sesiones semanales y anuales, a\u00f1os de pr\u00e1ctica de minibasket y a\u00f1os de pr\u00e1ctica deportiva.Por \u00faltimo, se observ\u00f3 que la rpe expresada por el entrenador, coincide con la rpe media de los participantes de la competici\u00f3n (rs = .347; p < .01), lo que nos indica que este \u00edndice, puede ser utilizado por el cuerpo t\u00e9cnico para adecuar las cargas de entrenamiento a los requerimientos de la competici\u00f3n.Palabras claves: minibasket, percepci\u00f3n de esfuerzo, competici\u00f3n.Laburpenakirol eta gorpuntz hezkuntzaren zientzien alorrean kokatuta dago doktore-tesi hau, saskibaloiaren inguruko formakuntza ikerketa-gai hartuta. Its principal objective is to better understand perceived exertion in 12 year-old minibasketball players during competition. The sample selected are boys and girls who participated in the final phase of the giipuzkoa 12 year-old championships. The instrument chosen to measure the afore-mentioned perceived exertion was the eston-parfitt pictorial scale given its validity, reliability and suitability for youngsters. The collection of data took place over the course of three consecutive weekends in may 2010 during the final stages of the gipuzkoa championships, consisting of the boys\u00c2\u00bf and girls\u00c2\u00bf quarter- finals, semi-finals and finals. Players of both sexes had to express their rpe at the end of each period of participation taking into account the specific rules of competition. In this way it was possible to obtain an rpe for periods of participation as well as an average rpe for the game as a whole. At the same time coaches were invited to give their rpe for their respective players at the end of the games.The results of the statistics analysed, indicate that the participants expressed an average rpemedia = 4.41 \u00c2\u00b1 1.61, establishing average values for each period of between rpe = 4 and rpe = 5, with an expected variation of between 1.60 y 1.95. These correspond to an exertion between moderate and strong. There are no significant differences between the sexes. Significant differences were found however, depending on whether the match ended in victory or defeat (p < .01); higher rpe was noted among those teams that lost a quarter or a match.In posterior analysis, logical regression was applied with a view to establishing the association between variables and calculating the odds ratio, with a 95% rate of fiability. This produces results that indicate that 32% of the variation observed in the average rpe of a match occur as a result of the following variables: length of the training session, number of weekly and annual sessions, years playing minibasketball and years doing sport.Finally, it was observed that the rpe expressed by the trainers coincided with the average rpe of the participants in the competition (rs = .347; p < .01), which indicates that this rate could be useful for those responsible for the design of training and preparation to meet the demands of competition.Key words:
