Nuestros resultados demuestran que dichas alteraciones moleculares son biol\u00f3gica y cl\u00ednicamente relevantes durante la progresi\u00f3n de la enfermedad y tambi\u00e9n durante la transformaci\u00f3n maligna, as\u00ed como prometedores candidatos como marcadores de riesgo de c\u00e1ncer, marcadores tumorales y potenciales dianas terap\u00e9uticas. En esta tesis se han explorado tambi\u00e9n posibles mecanismos subyacentes de la frecuente expresi\u00f3n aberrante de estos canales en cecc, que han llevado a demostrar por primera vez la contribuci\u00f3n de mecanismos epigen\u00e9ticos, en concreto la acetilaci\u00f3n de histonas (h3ac y h4k16ac). Estudios funcionales in vitro realizados en l\u00edneas celulares derivadas de cecc han contribuido a clarificar el papel patobiol\u00f3gico de kv3.4, heag1 y herg1 en cecc, demostrando su contribuci\u00f3n en proliferaci\u00f3n e invasi\u00f3n, si bien dicho papel no depende de sus propiedades como canales i\u00f3nicos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
