{"id":113292,"date":"2012-10-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-10-10T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/sin-categoria\/strain-injection-techniques-in-numerial-modeling-of-propagating-material-failure\/"},"modified":"2012-10-10T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-10-10T00:00:00","slug":"strain-injection-techniques-in-numerial-modeling-of-propagating-material-failure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/modelos-numericos-de-la-atmosfera\/strain-injection-techniques-in-numerial-modeling-of-propagating-material-failure\/","title":{"rendered":"Strain injection techniques in numerial modeling of propagating material failure"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Tesis doctoral de <strong> Ivo Miguel Baixinho Figueiredo Dias <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La metodolog\u00eda propuesta en esta tesis explora el concepto de inyecci\u00f3n de deformaciones, mediante una combinaci\u00f3n de los m\u00e9todos cl\u00e1sicos de localizaci\u00f3n y de la metodolog\u00eda de  discontinuidades fuertes, con el objetivo de eliminar las desventajas de los primeros (bloqueo de tensiones y dependencia de la direccionalidad de la malla) y, simult\u00e1neamente, prescindir de los algoritmos globales de captura de discontinuidades que requieren los segundos. La idea b\u00e1sica es utilizar,  despu\u00e9s del instante de bifurcaci\u00f3n, i.E. En aquellos elementos susceptibles de desarrollar discontinuidades, una formulaci\u00f3n mixta condensable de desplazamientos lineales continuos y deformaciones constantes discontinuas (q1\/e0 ) en elementos cuadrilaterales en 2d esta formulaci\u00f3n permite obtener mejores resultados  que las formulaciones cl\u00e1sicas, especialmente en t\u00e9rminos de remoci\u00f3n de la dependencia de la direccionalidad de la malla. En una primera etapa, muy corta, despu\u00e9s de la bifurcaci\u00f3n, el concepto de discontinuidad fuerte se deja de lado y el salto aparente de los desplazamientos se captura a trav\u00e9s de todo el elemento finito, como en los escenarios cl\u00e1sicos de localizaci\u00f3n. Inmediatamente despu\u00e9s, en una segunda etapa, la cinem\u00e1tica de aquellos elementos que han desarrollado un nivel de localizaci\u00f3n suficientemente profundo, se enriquece mediante la inyecci\u00f3n de un modo discontinuidad d\u00e9bil\/fuerte que minimiza los problemas de bloqueo de tensiones. La informaci\u00f3n necesaria para inyectar la discontinuidad (la direcci\u00f3n de la discontinuidad y su posici\u00f3n adentro del elemento finito) es obtenida ahora mediante un post-proceso de la variable interna de deformaci\u00f3n   que se ha obtenido en la primera etapa, dando lugar a un \u00c2\u00bflocal tracking algorithm\u00c2\u00bf (de car\u00e1cter elemental) que puede ser f\u00e1cilmente implementado de forma  local y no invasiva en un c\u00f3digo de elementos finitos denominado \u00c2\u00bfcrack propagation problem\u00c2\u00bf. En consecuencia, la metodolog\u00eda proporciona los beneficios de las t\u00e9cnicas de discontinuidades fuertes (carencia de bloqueo de tensiones. Independencia de la direccionalidad de la malla y bajo costo computacional) con una complejidad semejante a los cl\u00e1sicos y m\u00e1s sencillos, aunque tambi\u00e9n m\u00e1s inexactos, m\u00e9todos de localizaci\u00f3n de deformaciones. La metodolog\u00eda propuesta es aplicable a todo tipo de modelos constitutivos sin limitaciones aparentes.
