La ingenier\u00eda de tejidos consiste en el uso de biomateriales para favorecer la regeneraci\u00f3n y guiar las c\u00e9lulas capaces de regenerar para crear un ambiente favorable. La hip\u00f3tesis principal de esta tesis es que podamos promover un entorno favorable para la regeneraci\u00f3n del cns identificando propiedades de los materiales que tengan un efecto sobre las c\u00e9lulas neurales. En primer lugar se estudi\u00f3 la respuesta de la glia y de las neuronas a dos biopol\u00edmeros muy diferentes, el pmma y el quitosano. Se caracterizaron la hidrofilicidad, las caracter\u00edsticas de superficie y mec\u00e1nicas para los dos materiales. Despu\u00e9s, patrones lineales de diferentes tama\u00f1os en el rango micrometrico se introdujeron en los sustratos. La respuesta de las c\u00e9lulas gliales y neuronales se analizaron; se estudiaron la adhesi\u00f3n celular, la morfolog\u00eda y el estado de diferenciaci\u00f3n. Finalmente, se estudi\u00f3 el comportamiento de las c\u00e9lulas gliales en vidrios modificados con oh, cooh, nh2, ch3 para identificar el papel espec\u00edfico que juega la mojabilidad sobre las c\u00e9lulas gliales. Los datos indican que la adhesi\u00f3n, la morfolog\u00eda y el estado de maduraci\u00f3n de las neuronas y las c\u00e9lulas gliales se pueden controlar escogiendo la justa combinaci\u00f3n de propiedades del material y patrones f\u00edsicos. En general, los patrones lineales demostraron ser una herramienta \u00fatil para su uso en el dise\u00f1o de biomateriales para regeneraci\u00f3n de tejido nervioso. Sin embargo, el rendimiento de cada material deber\u00eda analizarse con atenci\u00f3n ya que juega papeles muy importantes en determinar la actividad biol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
