El estudio se realiz\u00f3 en 2290 alumnos\/as de la e.S.O. De la regi\u00f3n de murcia en el a\u00f1o 2007. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la asociaci\u00f3n entre consumo de alcohol y la estructura familiar y valoraciones de las relaciones familiares, las actividades de ocio y deporte y el uso de tabaco en los adolescentes de la regi\u00f3n de murcia. En ambos sexos valorar desfavorablemente las relaciones con el padre y con los hermanos, ocupar el segundo lugar entre los hermanos, dedicar m\u00e1s horas a los video juegos entre semana, realizar salidas nocturnas con amigos en el fin de semana y fumar tabaco se asociaron con haber consumido alcohol, siendo factor protector el dedicar m\u00e1s horas a la lectura, cine o teatro entre semana. En las chicas fueron adem\u00e1s factores de riesgo valorar desfavorablemente las relaciones con la madre y que la madre trabaje fuera de casa, mientras que dedicar horas de video juegos en fin de semana fue protector. En los chicos fue protector tambi\u00e9n practicar deporte los fines de semana.  abstract the multi-causal nature of alcohol consumption in adolescence justifies preventive interventions for the modification of risk and protective factors. For the study we interviewed 2290 students between 12 and 16 years old in the murcia region in 2007. The objective of this study is to analyze the association between alcohol consumption and family characteristics (family structure, adolescents&apos; assessment of family relationships and domestic violence), leisure and sport activities, and tobacco smoking in adolescents. In boys, an increased likelihood of alcohol consumption was independently associated with having a bad relationship with their father or siblings, being the second sibling, spending more time playing with video games during weekdays, going out with friends on the weekends, and with tobacco smoking. Spending more hours in cultural activities during the week or on sports on weekends was a protective factor for boys. In girls, having a bad relationship with their father, mother or siblings, being the second sibling, playing video games on weekdays, going out with friends on weekend or tobacco smoking were all independent risk factors in multivariate logistic regressions.
