Participaron 234  estudiantes de las carreras de psicolog\u00eda, kinesiolog\u00eda, enfermer\u00eda y derecho distribuidos seg\u00fan su nivel de estudios (inicial, intermedio y final). Los resultados muestran la existencia de relaciones moderadas pero significativas entre el rendimiento acad\u00e9mico de los estudiantes universitarios con las estrategias metacognitivas y motivaci\u00f3n por el aprendizaje de los mismos. Por otra parte, se observa un aumento progresivo de la motivaci\u00f3n  por el aprendizaje y uso de estrategias metacognitivas  conforme aumenta el nivel de estudio de los \u00e9stos. Encontr\u00e1ndose igualmente correlacionados entre los estudiantes las variables relacionadas con la motivaci\u00f3n y estrategias metacognitivas para su aprendizaje.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
