Tras revisar el mito de medea (1988) el realizador dan\u00e9s reinventa el arquetipo de la hero\u00edna tr\u00e1gica en la trilog\u00eda de los corazones de oro breaking the waves (1996), the idiots (1998) y dancer in the dark (2000), pra regresar al mito de la mujer como elementos desestabilizador de la comunidad, en una de las pel\u00edculas m\u00e1s innovadoras del comienzo del nuevo milenio: dogville (2002). Mediante el an\u00e1lisis f\u00edlmico y apoy\u00e1ndose en los estudios culturales, esta investigaci\u00f3n se interroga acerca de la importancia y el poder del cine a la hora de recuperar antiguos
