En particular, se examina el efecto de cfr y as sobre el v\u00ednculo con la empresa motivado por motivos trascendentes los cuales, siguiendo a p\u00e9rez l\u00f3pez (1993), determinan la calidad motivacional de los empleados.  El estudio cuantitativo se realiz\u00f3 con datos obtenidos en cinco empresas repartidas entre argentina, espa\u00f1a y guatemala.  Los resultados muestran un efecto directo, positivo y significativo de cfr y as sobre el v\u00ednculo con la empresa motivado por motivos intr\u00ednsecos y trascendentes. El principal aporte de la tesis para la literatura sobre el balance entre trabajo, familia y vida personal es introducir los motivos para actuar como variable de estudio en la materia. Una fortaleza del estudio es que utiliza una muestra proveniente de diferentes culturas empresariales. Adem\u00e1s, presenta evaluaci\u00f3n emp\u00edrica de algunos aspectos importantes de la teor\u00eda antropol\u00f3gica de la motivaci\u00f3n de p\u00e9rez l\u00f3pez
