Se int enta conseguir un mapa y patr\u00f3n de densidades de estos huesos, a la vez que se analiza la posible correlaci\u00f3n de la dmo con la edad, el sexo y la localizaci\u00f3n anat\u00f3mica. la muestra del estudio se compuso de 120 pacientes (60 hombres y 60 mujeres) a l os que se le han realizado esc\u00e1neres con dos equipos de tomograf\u00eda computerizada helicoidal (ge\u00c2\u00ae,general electric company usa, modelo cte dual). El material espec\u00edfico para la densitometr\u00eda fue el software qct-pro 3d spine\u00c2\u00ae y los fantomas de calibrac i\u00f3n y exploraci\u00f3n.  \tlos resultados del estudio demuestran que el programa inform\u00e1tico o software qct-pro 3d spine\u00c2\u00ae es aplicable a los esc\u00e1neres de maxilar y\/o mand\u00edbula con fines densitom\u00e9tricos en implantolog\u00eda y que puede obtener valores de dmo en  los vol\u00famenes peque\u00f1os de maxilar y\/o mand\u00edbula. se configura un modelo o patr\u00f3n densitom\u00e9trico en relaci\u00f3n con los valores de dmo trabecular de las distintas regiones anat\u00f3micas de maxilar y\/o mand\u00edbula. Se demuestra una relaci\u00f3n de la dmo trabecul ar oral con la edad, el sexo y la localizaci\u00f3n anat\u00f3mica, siendo la mand\u00edbula m\u00e1s densa que el maxilar en hombres y en
