Experiments were carried out in a temperature range of 250-350\u00c2\u00bac (12-43 mpa) at reaction times of 15-90 min for a methanol-to-oil molar ratio of 43:1. Maintaining the thermal stability of biodiesel is one of the most important concerns in supercritical high-yield biodiesel production. Thus, thermal decomposition reactions were investigated in different reaction conditions [temperature, reaction time and methanol-to-oil molar ratio ranges of 250-350\u00c2\u00bac, 15-90 min and 13:1-53:1, respectively]. A new method for determining the degree of decomposition is proposed based on the area of a new chromatographic peak detected during the analysis of the reaction samples according to the standard une-en 14105:2003.   resumen  se investig\u00f3 la s\u00edntesis de biodi\u00e9sel con metanol supercr\u00edtico sin catalizador en reactor discontinuo a partir de aceite de soja, estudiando la evoluci\u00f3n de los productos intermedios (monoglic\u00e9ridos y diglic\u00e9ridos), la conversi\u00f3n de triglic\u00e9ridos y el rendimiento de biodi\u00e9sel y de glicerina. Los experimentos se llevaron a cabo en un intervalo de temperaturas de 250-350\u00c2\u00bac, tiempos de reacci\u00f3n de 15-90 min para una relaci\u00f3n molar metanol\/aceite de 43:1. Mantener la estabilidad t\u00e9rmica del biodi\u00e9sel es una de las mayores preocupaciones en la producci\u00f3n de biodi\u00e9sel en condiciones supercr\u00edticas. As\u00ed, se investigaron las reacciones de descomposici\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica bajo diferentes condiciones [intervalos de temperatura, tiempo de reacci\u00f3n y relaci\u00f3n molar de 250-350\u00c2\u00bac, 15-90 min y 13:1-53:1, respectivamente]. Se propuso un nuevo m\u00e9todo para determinar el grado de descomposici\u00f3n en base al \u00e1rea de un nuevo pico cromatogr\u00e1fico detectado durante el an\u00e1lisis de las muestras de la
