Bajo un prisma metodol\u00f3gico caracter\u00edstico de las ciencias sociales, se observan las actitudes y comportamientos de  j\u00f3venes de distintas generaciones ante la vida en pareja y el matrimonio. Se abordan temas claves como la relaci\u00f3n de noviazgo, los indicadores que favorecen la emancipaci\u00f3n y la organizaci\u00f3n de la vida en pareja.  se parte de una revisi\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica para acercase a  cuestiones relevantes en la  formaci\u00f3n de nuevas familias. Seguidamente, se realiza una aproximaci\u00f3n a las experiencias vividas, donde la praxis es la base de lo narrado por parte de las distintas generaciones entrevistadas, quienes responden a un cuestionario o reconstruyen historias de vida. El \u00e1mbito del estudio se enmarca en  el municipio de cartagena.  finalmente se concluyen cambios y permanencias  generacionales.    abstract:  \tthis work has to be understood as an empirical study of one aspect of the phenomenon of the family, creating households. Under a prism of social science methodology, there are attitudes and behaviors of young people from different generations being married life and marriage. It addresses key issues such as the dating relationship, indicators favoring emancipation and organization of married life.      \tit is part of a literature review to approach relevant topics about the formation of new families. Next, an approach to life experiences, where the practice is the basis of the narrative by different generations surveyed, respondents to a questionnaire or reconstruct histories of life.
