Para ello, se analizan las formas y dep\u00f3sitos correlativos de las sucesivas fases, que se erigen en indicadores ambientales de las distintas etapas. Concretamente, el estudio se centra en el an\u00e1lisis de las terrazas y dep\u00f3sitos fluviales, los glacis y los dep\u00f3sitos de ladera asociados a los per\u00edodos de crisis clim\u00e1ticas. Se muestra especial atenci\u00f3n a los sedimentos fluviales del r\u00edo ebro ya que, a pesar de ser uno de los r\u00edos peninsulares m\u00e1s importantes, el estudio de su evoluci\u00f3n reciente se ha centrado en tramos inferiores de su cuenca o, de manera puntual, en algunos afluentes de la cuenca alta. El an\u00e1lisis geomorfol\u00f3gico y estratigr\u00e1fico de estas formas y dep\u00f3sitos, su dataci\u00f3n relativa y absoluta as\u00ed como la elaboraci\u00f3n de una cartograf\u00eda geomorfol\u00f3gica de detalle, constituye el m\u00e9todo de trabajo en el que basar la reconstrucci\u00f3n del paisaje.El establecimiento de la evoluci\u00f3n cuaternaria de este sector de la cuenca del ebro es necesario como base para la comprensi\u00f3n del paisaje actual. La ausencia de dep\u00f3sitos antiguos ha significado que este proyecto se centre en el estudio del pleistoceno reciente y holoceno, etapas fundamentales en la evoluci\u00f3n morfogen\u00e9tica de la
