Jose <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En el campo de prevencion de la retinopatia diabetica, nuestro grupo de trabajo esta realizando estudios tendentes a relacionar el funcionalismo plaquetario y desarrollo y evolucion de la microangipatia.  el presente estudio se ha dise\u00f1ado para responder a los siguientes objetivos: cuantificar la produccion de prostanoides y oxido nitrico en animales diabeticos, valorar las modificaciones del acido acetilsalicilico sobre estos parametros y comprobar si el efecto preventivo de este farmaco se modifica con los cambios en la produccion de oxido nitrico.  el modelo experimental utilizado ha sido la induccion de diabetes en ratas mediante estreptozotocina, equivalente a una diabetes tipo 1 en ser humano. Se administro aspirina en dosis antitromboticas y antiinflamatorias, en ausencia o presencia de un estimulante o de un inhibidor de la sintesis de oxido nitrico.  aspirina redujo en un 50% la aparici\u00f3n de isquemia retiniana en el modelo de diabetes. Este efecto se correlaciono con un respeto en la sintesis de prostaciclina y un incremento en la de oxido nitrico.
