La expresi\u00f3n de diversos marcadores se asocia con la met\u00e1stasis y podr\u00eda relacionarse con los dos modelos de carcinog\u00e9nesis propuestos, mientras que a pesar de que se consigue clasificar el total de carcinomas felinos del estudio seg\u00fan el modelo molecular, los subgrupos obtenidos no se relacionan con el curso de la neoplasia. en funci\u00f3n de los resultados obtenidos, es posible considerar a la gata como un modelo animal espont\u00e1neo v\u00e1lido para el estudio del c\u00e1ncer de mama en la mujer palabras clave: tumor, gata, gl\u00e1ndula mamaria, inmuncitoqu\u00edmica  summary the aims of the present study were to analyze the expression in feline mammary tumours of several markers of human breast cancer, and to observe their relation with the appearance of metastasis, the molecular classification, and the oncogenesis models. a total of 160 feline mammary neoplasia were used, from which 21 were adenomas, 66 simple non-metastasic carcinomas and 73 simple carcinomas with metastasis in a regional lymphatic node. A analysis was performed using immunocytochemical techniques for several markers such as luminal (ck8\/18) and basal (ck5\/6 and ck14) cytokeratins, vimentin, e-cadherin, ?-Catenin, n-cadherin, cd44, her-2 and er. the results show that enhanced expression of basal cytokeratins, low expression of ck8\/18, loss of e-cadherin and ?-Catenin, expression of n-cadherin and cd44 expression are associated with metastasis. Furthermore, although all carcinomas in this study were classified according to the molecular model, the obtained subgroups do not correlate with the prognosis of the neoplasia. keywords: tumor,
