Se desarrolla un estudio de caso exploratorio en cuatro plantas industriales. Las cuatro plantas han realizado una transformaci\u00f3n lean con mejoras significativas del rendimiento, y corresponden respectivamente a delphi diesel systems, sogefi filtration, una empresa del sector de la madera y renault. Las pr\u00e1cticas organizativas asociadas con un enfoque a los flujos de valor identificadas son: (1) el establecimiento de unidades organizativas basadas en los flujos de valor; (2) el uso de un sistema de medida del rendimiento basado en los flujos de valor, y (3) la adopci\u00f3n de un sistema formal de reuniones. Estas pr\u00e1cticas organizativas se han encontrado en las cuatro empresas estudiadas. La adopci\u00f3n de estas pr\u00e1cticas es est\u00e1ndar y consistente entre las diferentes unidades organizativas dentro de las plantas estudiadas. Sin embargo, la aplicaci\u00f3n de los conceptos depende fuertemente en las circunstancias espec\u00edficas de cada planta como tama\u00f1o, complejidad y madurez en la transformaci\u00f3n lean. Esta investigaci\u00f3n exploratoria proporciona una contribuci\u00f3n en el campo de las practicas organizativas involucradas en la transici\u00f3n a la empresa lean.
