Para ello se han secuenciado cuatro regiones del adn (espaciadores nuclear its1 e its2, la regi\u00f3n cloroplastidial rps3-rpl16 y la mitocondrial rpl5-rpl16). Asimismo se han usado dos t\u00e9cnicas de fingerprinting (microsat\u00e9lites y aflp). Se ha aplicado el m\u00e9todo de exploraci\u00f3n del genoma sobre los datos aflp para detectar loci sometidos a selecci\u00f3n. Se han desarrollado con \u00e9xito nuevos cebadores y\/o se han modificado otros para mejorar la amplificaci\u00f3n pcr en las regiones rps3-rpl16 e its. Los resultados obtenidos han mostrado una alta variabilidad gen\u00e9tica y han revelado la existencia de dos linajes divergentes en funaria hygrometrica. Four dna regions were sequenced (its1 and its2 nuclear spacers, rps3-rpl16 chloroplast dna region, and rpl5-rpl16 mitochondrial intergenic spacer). Two fingerprinting techniques (microsatellites and aflp) were used to complement the sequence data. A genome scan method was applied on the aflp data in order to find loci under selection. New and\/or modified primers were developed to improve the pcr amplification for the nuclear its spacer and the chloroplast rps3-rpl16 region. The results obtained showed a high genetic variability and revealed the existence of two divergent lineages of funaria hygrometrica. Based on the statistical mantel test, the significant levels of correlation suggested that funaria hygrometrica possesses an adaptive variation along sierra nevada mountains.  keywords: bryophytes,
