El dispositivo starpom ofrece m\u00faltiples c\u00e1maras de cultivo conectadas con \u00c2\u00b5-canales que permiten estudiar la comunicaci\u00f3n entre poblaciones de neuronas. Para su fabricaci\u00f3n un master soft-litograf\u00eda avanzado con m\u00faltiples niveles de su-8 fue desarrollado que puede moldear \u00c2\u00b5-canales y pozos de cultivo al mismo tiempo. El problema de la alineaci\u00f3n de las caracter\u00edsticas a trav\u00e9s de una capa su-8 gruesa ha sido resuelto mediante la integraci\u00f3n de una m\u00e1scara de cromo en el sustrato y a continuaci\u00f3n, utilizando una exposici\u00f3n trasera a trav\u00e9s de la m\u00e1scara de cromo.  un seguimiento a largo plazo de la actividad electrofisiol\u00f3gica de las neuronas ha sido llevada a cabo continuamente durante 14 d\u00edas en el dispositivo starpom. Para el an\u00e1lisis de los datos grabados un conjunto nuevo de herramientas software ha sido creada con el objetivo de alto rendimiento de procesamiento. Los dos componentes m\u00e1s avanzados &#8211; o1plot e isiviewer &#8211; ofrecen un alto rendimiento de la visualizaci\u00f3n de series temporales con anotaciones de eventos o intervalos y visualizaci\u00f3n de histogramas de intervalos interpicos para el descubrimiento r\u00e1pido de las correlaciones entre los picos en un dispositivo.  el an\u00e1lisis de la grabaci\u00f3n de 14 d\u00edas revel\u00f3 que se\u00f1ales pueden ser grabadas a partir del d\u00eda 4\/5. Mientras las m\u00e1ximas amplitudes pico segu\u00edan subiendo durante los 14 d\u00edas y llegaron a 3,16 mv, las amplitudes promedio alcanzaron su pico m\u00e1ximo de 0,1-0,3 mv dentro de 6 a 8 d\u00edas y luego se mantuvieron las amplitudes estable.  para entender mejor la biof\u00edsica de la generaci\u00f3n de las se\u00f1ales en los \u00c2\u00b5-canales, se estudi\u00f3 la influencia de la longitud del \u00c2\u00b5-canal a la amplitud de la se\u00f1al. Se desarroll\u00f3 un modelo basado en la teor\u00eda de cable pasivo demonstrando que la amplitud pico crece con la longitud del canal para \u00c2\u00b5-canales <250 micras. En \u00c2\u00b5-canales m\u00e1s largos, un mayor crecimiento de la amplitud del pico se inhibe por la cancelaci\u00f3n de fase de los picos positivos y negativos. Adem\u00e1s, la obstrucci\u00f3n de las entradas \u00c2\u00b5-canal por c\u00e9lulas y residuos ayuda a mejorar la amplificaci\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al.\n\n\n\n&nbsp;\n\n\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
