Actualmente, snd1 est\u00e1 despertando inter\u00e9s como posible diana terap\u00e9utica debido a su sobrexpresi\u00f3n en c\u00e9lulas tumorales. Considerando la trascendencia de conocer c\u00f3mo se controla la expresi\u00f3n de snd1, y su papel como coactivador transcripcional, en el presente trabajo abordamos el estudio de su regulaci\u00f3n transcripcional en condiciones inflamatorias y de los genes diana de esta prote\u00edna. Se han identificado sitios de uni\u00f3n a los factores de transcripci\u00f3n nf-\u00c2\u00bfb y a stat3 en los promotores de los genes snd1 humano y sndp102 de rata. Las citoquinas proinflamatorias tnf-\u00c2\u00bf e il-6 estimulan la actividad transcripcional del promotor de snd. Los resultados obtenidos mediante ensayos emsa, de inmunoprecipitaci\u00f3n de cromatina y mutag\u00e9nesis dirigida, indican que los efectos de tnf-\u00c2\u00bf e il-6 sobre snd1 est\u00e1n mediados en parte por nf-\u00c2\u00bfb y a stat3. Por otro lado, se ha caracterizado mediante chip-on.Chip la uni\u00f3n de snd1 a un n\u00famero considerado de promotores g\u00e9nicos, estas uniones tienen lugar en la mayor\u00eda de los casos en cera del inicio de la transcripci\u00f3n. Se han validado como genes diana de snd1 varios genes relacionados con el metabolismo lip\u00eddico, la transcripci\u00f3n, la diferenciaci\u00f3n y  la regulaci\u00f3n del ciclo celular. En respuesta a tnf-\u00c2\u00bf, se alteran los niveles de mrna de algunos de los genes diana de snd1 relacionados con el metabolismo lip\u00eddico.
