Griffith, el nacimiento de una naci\u00f3n (1915), incluye elementos que r\u00e1pidamente evocan textos ut\u00f3picos: el sue\u00f1o de una sociedad perfecta, la visi\u00f3n de la \u00c2\u00abciudad celestial de la paz\u00c2\u00bb, la figura de cristo, etc. Como contrapartida, el segmento final de la pel\u00edcula de bu\u00f1uel la edad de oro (1930) nos ofrece la imagen invertida del universo de griffith. Esta ambiValencia nos sirve para introducir nuestra tesis, la cual pretende presentar la multitud de elementos de funci\u00f3n ut\u00f3pica que han sido empleados en el medio cinematogr\u00e1fico.
