Las antenas reconfigurables son una soluci\u00f3n muy prometedora para los nuevos sistemas de comunicaci\u00f3n inal\u00e1mbrica los cuales buscan mejorar la capacidad de canal y extender el \u00e1rea de cobertura de se\u00f1al rf. Las principales ventajas de las antenas reconfigurables son su bajo coste y  las capacidades de reconfiguraci\u00f3n en frecuencia, diagrama de radiaci\u00f3n y polarizaci\u00f3n que poseen. Las antenas reconfigurables pueden ser dise\u00f1adas para operar en diferentes entornos y conservar excelentes caracter\u00edsticas electromagn\u00e9ticas. El dise\u00f1o de repetidores reconfigurables de se\u00f1al rf es una aplicaci\u00f3n relevante de antenas reconfigurables.   este trabajo de tesis est\u00e1 dedicado al estudio y dise\u00f1o de nuevas arquitecturas de repetidores reconfigurables, los cuales hacen uso elementos par\u00e1sitos reconfigurables que forman parte del repetidor y que son usados para reducir el acoplamiento electromagn\u00e9tico entre la antena receptora rx y la antena transmisora tx. Se demuestra que el uso de elementos par\u00e1sitos como mecanismo de reconfiguraci\u00f3n da la flexibilidad de adaptar las caracter\u00edsticas electromagn\u00e9ticas del repetidor a diferentes entornos en donde existen un gran n\u00famero de  obst\u00e1culos que producen reflexiones indeseables,  manteniendo un buen funcionamiento del sistema repetidor. La determinaci\u00f3n del n\u00famero m\u00ednimo de elementos par\u00e1sitos es un par\u00e1metro importante y es determinado mediante un an\u00e1lisis modal que define el  n\u00famero m\u00ednimo de elementos par\u00e1sitos que ayudan a cumplir excelentes propiedades electromagn\u00e9ticas del repetidor. Para validar los resultados anal\u00edticos, diferentes prototipos de repetidores reconfigurables los cuales son controlados de manera electr\u00f3nica son construidos y medidos experimentalmente. Primeramente un repetidor reconfigurable que hace uso de 8 elementos par\u00e1sitos  ha sido dise\u00f1ado para operar y adaptarse a diferentes entornos. Las capacidades de reconfiguraci\u00f3n de dicho dise\u00f1o son estudiadas para evaluar el desempe\u00f1o del repetidor en entornos variables en donde existen obst\u00e1culos que producen reflexiones. Finalmente, se hace un estudio de una arquitectura de repetidor que tiene la capacidad de generar un alto aislamiento entre los puertos de recepci\u00f3n rx y de transmisi\u00f3n tx a diferentes frecuencias dentro de un ancho de banda de hasta un 40%. Esta arquitectura est\u00e1 basada en una capa pixelada reconfigurable la cual es usada como mecanismo de reconfiguraci\u00f3n y ha sido dise\u00f1ada y medida de manera
