El trabajo incorpora tres instrumentos, uno para cada estudio empirico: el self description questionnaire de marsh, el test evaluativo multifactorial de adaptacion infantil de hernandez y una prueba abierta de autoconcepto con la finalidad de enriquecer progresivamente la informaci\u00f3n recogida y la potencialidad de los analisis. Se incluye un cuarto estudio que busca establecer relaciones entre los tres anteriores mediante la aplicaci\u00f3n de analisis factoriales oblicuos.  los resultados ponen de manifiesto la existencia de caracteristicas configuradores de cada grupos y diferencias significativas entre los grupos en items y factores de los cuestionarios cerrados y en las categorias de la prueba abierta, lo que permite definir tres tipos y sus opuestos y situar a cada grupo en un continuo dentro del modelo pentatriaxios de hernandez y concretar elementos claves para elaborar programas de intervenci\u00f3n
