El modelo propuesto se ha desarrollado en un entorno software de din\u00e1mica de fluidos computacional, cfd, utilizando como base un an\u00e1lisis de vol\u00famenes finitos, fvm. La herramienta comercial utilizada para dicho prop\u00f3sito ha sido ansys cfx. El modelo presentado se basa en anteriores referencias bibliogr\u00e1ficas y presenta novedades y mejoras respecto a los mismos, as\u00ed como la consideraci\u00f3n de la geometr\u00eda en su totalidad con tres dimensiones y sin simplificaciones de simetr\u00eda, un mallado fino de aproximadamente 100000 nodos, un modelo de radiaci\u00f3n preciso p1 con seis bandas espectrales y el c\u00e1lculo del campo magn\u00e9tico mediante el vector potencial magn\u00e9tico. De esta manera el modelo definido se aplicaa para seis casos diferentes analizando la influencia de diversos factores en el comportamiento del arco el\u00e9ctrico en interruptores de baja tensi\u00f3n. Los factores analizados son: la definici\u00f3n de las ra\u00edces del arco el\u00e9ctrico, la posici\u00f3n de inicio del arco, el valor de la corriente de entrada, la cantidad de chapas en la c\u00e1mara del interruptor, el volumen de expanci\u00f3n en la salida de la c\u00e1mara, as\u00ed como otros cambios geom\u00e9tricos. Las conclusiones obtenidas de dicho an\u00e1lisis, son contrarrestadas con la verificaci\u00f3n y validaci\u00f3n del modelo. La verificaci\u00f3n del modelo se ha llevado a cabo analizando la influencia del mallado y del tiempo de paso en las simulaciones calculando los errores computacionales para cada caso y eligiendo as\u00ed el mallado, tiempo de paso y modelo de radiaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s acertado para el modelo de arco el\u00e9ctrico que se presenta.
