Pilar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objeto de esta investigaci\u00f3n es la edici\u00f3n cr\u00edtica y estudio de la linguae latinae exercitatio del humanista espa\u00f1ol juan luis vives (1492\/1493-1540), m\u00e1s conocida en el \u00e1mbito hispano como los di\u00e1logos. Fue la obra m\u00e1s popular del humanista con 601 ediciones contabilizadas hasta el momento. Esto significa que constituy\u00f3 un aut\u00e9ntico \u00abbest seller\u00bb editorial, principalmente durante la segunda mitad del siglo xvi, que super\u00f3 en ventas a los colloquia de erasmo.  las razones del \u00e9xito de estos 25 di\u00e1logos escolares hay que buscarlas en los contenidos, exentos de cr\u00edtica reformista, adecuados al p\u00fablico para el que iban dirigidos y aderezados por un fino sentido del humor.  el an\u00e1lisis del contenido de la exercitatio a la luz de la restante producci\u00f3n del autor pone de manifiesto que este manual de conversaci\u00f3n es una puesta en escena del programa educativo trazado en su de disciplinis. el proyecto inicial de c\u00f3mo deb\u00edan ser unos dialogos escolares que escribi\u00f3 en el de ratione studii puerilis fue enriquecido por el autor con las principales aportaciones de su antropolog\u00eda.  la exercitatio tambi\u00e9n manifiesta su profundo conocimiento de los autores cl\u00e1sicos, que se advierte no s\u00f3lo por la abundancia de citas, sino porque se han convertido en motivos de inspiraci\u00f3n para una serie de escenas con tono y contenido propios.  las sencillas ense\u00f1anzas que se transmiten son una proped\u00e9utica del saber y la virtud en estudios superiores.
