A fin de cuentas, termina siendo casi el \u00fanico \u00e1mbito en el que podemos seguir linealmente la implantaci\u00f3n de la modernidad arquitect\u00f3nica en espa\u00f1a. Los cines construidos entre 1896 y 1960 constituyen un espl\u00e9ndido cat\u00e1logo en el que se observa con eficacia la progresiva introducci\u00f3n de las nuevas formas de la arquitectura, la puesta al d\u00eda con la arquitectura que se hac\u00eda fuera de espa\u00f1a y la audacia y preparaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica de los arquitectos y constructores espa\u00f1oles en aquellos a\u00f1os. la tesis doctoral se estructura en tres cap\u00edtulos principales que permiten conformar una perspectiva general de la evoluci\u00f3n de las salas de proyecci\u00f3n cinematogr\u00e1fica en espa\u00f1a, que van precedidas de un cap\u00edtulo introductorio sobre lo acaecido fuera de nuestro pa\u00eds. Las otras tres partes definen las etapas fundamentales que se dieron en nuestro pa\u00eds en esta transformaci\u00f3n. Cada cap\u00edtulo se acompa\u00f1a por un cat\u00e1logo de obras, orden\u00e1ndose las construcciones de manera cronol\u00f3gica y agrup\u00e1ndose por su relaci\u00f3n con la propia evoluci\u00f3n que la arquitectura iba teniendo fuera de nuestras fronteras.  this study analyses the evolution of film projection rooms in spain from the point of view of architectural trends and styles as well as technical innovations in their construction. Cinemas have used technical and aesthetic avant-garde designs; it is almost the only field in which we can follow the implantation of modern architecture in spain.  cinemas built from 1896 to 1960 are forming a splendid overview to observe the gradual introduction of new forms of architecture, updated using architectural influences from across the spanish borders, combined with the audacity and technical preparation of spanish architects and builders from this period. the dissertation is divided into three main chapters, which form an overview of the evolution of film projection rooms in spain. These three chapters are preceded by an introductory chapter about the developments in architecture outside of spain. The other three parts define the transformation that occurred within spanish borders. Each chapter is accompanied by a list of works, ordering their constructions chronologically, and are grouped by their relationship to the architectural evolution
