La idea de sistema completo se refiere a que engloba a todas las entidades involucradas en el sistema, tanto a las fuentes de informaci\u00f3n como a los responsables del procesamiento y a las aplicaciones de los usuarios finales. De esta manera, cada sistema en concreto adaptar\u00e1 las estaciones hardware o componentes software planteados conforme a sus necesidades concretas. en base a los problemas propuestos, se tratar\u00e1n de cumplir los siguientes objetivos: 1.\tDesarrollar una herramienta capaz de procesar informaci\u00f3n referenciada geogr\u00e1ficamente procedente de diversas fuentes, realizando las conversiones necesarias para localizar la informaci\u00f3n en el sistema de referencia apropiado y permitiendo la visualizaci\u00f3n de los resultados de manera gr\u00e1fica. 2.\tDescribir una arquitectura que facilite la gesti\u00f3n eficiente de cantidades masivas de informaci\u00f3n, haciendo uso de las tecnolog\u00edas necesarias para analizar grandes vol\u00famenes de datos con un coste de recursos aceptable.  3.\tSuministrar los componentes habituales en aplicaciones its con el objetivo de simplificar su desarrollo, gracias a la producci\u00f3n de elementos hardware y software reutilizables y escalables. 4.\tOfrecer una herramienta integral que a\u00fane distintas aplicaciones its en un mismo esquema hardware y software, mostrando as\u00ed el beneficio de la utilizaci\u00f3n de la arquitectura propuesta. metodolog\u00eda para lograr estos objetivos, la tesis se ha desarrollado siguiendo ciertas normas:  \tplanificar una arquitectura hardware y software, modular y escalable, que estructure los sistemas de monitorizaci\u00f3n y procesamiento de datos masivos. \tpermitir diversas fuentes de informaci\u00f3n para el sistema, tanto internas al mismo como de entidades externas. \tpermitir el acceso remoto a los datos obtenidos por las distintas fuentes. \tpermitir el acceso homog\u00e9neo a informaci\u00f3n propia y de terceros. \tintegrar en una cartograf\u00eda informaci\u00f3n procedente de fuentes heterog\u00e9neas. \trealizar el procesamiento de la informaci\u00f3n de forma eficiente en cuanto a latencia de las respuestas. \tgenerar mapas tem\u00e1ticos relevantes a partir del procesamiento de la informaci\u00f3n, que proporcionen consciencia sobre la situaci\u00f3n real. \tadmitir sistemas de ayuda a la decisi\u00f3n en base a las situaciones detectadas. \tser capaz de generar alarmas en los casos necesarios. \tproducir aplicaciones que ejemplifiquen la utilizaci\u00f3n de la arquitectura y la validen. resultados las principales contribuciones de la tesis se pueden resumir de la siguiente manera: \tel dise\u00f1o de estructuras arquitect\u00f3nicas modulares sobre las cuales poder crear aplicaciones its, usando diversas fuentes y consumidores de informaci\u00f3n, basada en un conjunto de equipos f\u00edsicos y unidades que cumplen los requisitos necesarios para llevar a cabo las distintas tareas del sistema. \tla implementaci\u00f3n de m\u00f3dulos software reutilizables, basados en el paradigma de orientaci\u00f3n a objetos, capaces de la gesti\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n masiva y georreferenciada. La arquitectura software est\u00e1 basada en capas con interfaces definidas para la comunicaci\u00f3n entre las mismas, de forma que permite cambiar la implementaci\u00f3n de cada una, as\u00ed como el desarrollo incremental del sistema completo  \tla implementaci\u00f3n de varios sistemas its que utilizan y explotan los beneficios de las partes antes comentadas. Estos sistemas validan experimentalmente la arquitectura.   summary objectives the general objective of the doctoral thesis &quot;una arquitectura para la gesti\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n georreferenciada con integraci\u00f3n de datos masivos: aplicaciones its&quot; is to suggest a frame architecture to create whole its systems (intelligent transport system) that manage massive and geographically referenced information. The idea of whole systems is because they aggregate all the entities involved, both the data sources and processing manager or user applications. In this way, each specific system will adapt the proposed hardware and software modules just as it particular needs. based on posed problems, the following objectives are proposed: 1.\tDevelop a tool capable of processing geographically referenced information from several data sources. The tool must achieve the necessary conversions to localize the information in a suitable reference system and allow the graphic visualization of the results. 2.\tDescribe an architecture which facilitates the efficient management of massive information, making use of appropriate technologies to analyze huge volume of data with a reasonable resources cost. 3.\tSupply usual components for its applications, by way of reusable and scalable hardware and software elements, with the aim of simplify the development of those applications. 4.\tOffer an integral tool that join different its applications in one hardware and software thinking to show the benefits of the proposed architecture use. methodology the thesis has followed these methods to achieve the previous objectives:  \tplan hardware and software architecture, modular and scalable, that organize the monitoring and processing systems. \tpermit several data sources for the system, as many internal as external. \tpermit remote access to data from various sources. \tpermit homogeneous access to own information and from third parties. \tintegrate the information into cartography. \tmake the information processing in an efficiently way as regards responses latency. \tgenerate relevant thematic maps from the information processing to obtain situation awareness. \tadmit decision support system based on the detected situations. \tbe able to generating alarms if necessary. \tbuild applications to validate the proponed architecture. results the main contributions of the thesis are summarized below: \tthe design of modular architectural structures to create its applications using several data sources and data consumers. These structures are based on a set of physical and virtual equipments that meet the necessary requirements for all the tasks of the systems. \tthe implementation of reused software modules, using the object oriented paradigm, capable of managing the massive and geographically referenced information. The software architecture is based on layers with defined interfaces for the communications between themselves. It allows changing the implementation of each layer as well as the incremental development of whole system.  \tthe implementation of several its systems that use and take advantage of the benefits of the previous items.
