Ikerketaren helburuak zehaztutakoan, honako ikerketa-galderei erantzuna eman diegu: (1) zeintzuk dira testuinguru euskaldun batetako gazteen hizkuntza-ohiturak eta zenbateraino nahasten dituzte kodeak? (2) zeintzuk dira hizkuntza bat edo bestea aukeratzeko garaian eragiten duten faktoreak? (3) zein ezaugarri dauzka gazteek esparru informalean idatziz komunikatzeko erabiltzen duten hizkuntzak? Eta (4) ikasleak gai al dira testuinguru akademikoa eta informala bereiztuz hizkuntza idatzia testuinguru batera eta bestera egokitzeko?Ikerketaren lagina azpeitiko 14-16 urte bitarteko gazte guztiek (n=299) eta beren zortzi irakaslek osatzen dute.
