Se han utilizado t\u00e9cnicas convencionales  de an\u00e1lisis qu\u00edmico, microscop\u00eda \u00f3ptica y electr\u00f3nica de barrido para seguimiento cin\u00e9tico del sistema. La retenci\u00f3n de metales sobre la resina quelante se ha ajustado a varios modelos difusionales, y finalmente se ha seleccionado un modelo heterog\u00e9neo de difusi\u00f3n en paralelo gel-poro para el an\u00e1lisis cin\u00e9tico de los resultados obtenidos. Este modelo presenta un buen ajuste a los resultados experimentales, e incluso explica aquellos aparentemente an\u00f3malos.
