Sin embargo, la visi\u00f3n que el cine ha transmitido del per\u00edodo hist\u00f3rico de la ii rep\u00fablica espa\u00f1ola hasta 1936 ( a diferencia del posterior de la guerra civil) apenas ha sido abordado por la historiograf\u00eda. Y ello a pesar de ser uno de los puntos claves para entender la memoria del pasado  desde una nueva \u00f3ptica social e hist\u00f3rica , a trav\u00e9s del cine de ficci\u00f3n.Por ello, el objetivo de esta tesis es abordar el modo en el que el cine ha retratado el periodo de la segunda rep\u00fablica, tanto desde su perspectiva hist\u00f3rica pret\u00e9rita como respecto a su relaci\u00f3n con el contexto de su rodaje. El escaso tratamiento de este periodo muestra la complejidad del acercamiento a su marco hist\u00f3rico, aunque haya sido representado con una serie de rasgos propios, en su mayor\u00eda conflictivos, con una indisoluble uni\u00f3n con las causas de la guerra civil. En suma, el legado de la memoria republicana ha constituido un imaginario impreciso (denostado por el franquismo e idealizado, frecuentemente, por la democracia), fragmentado o contradictorio, que, en el mejor de los casos, ha querido servir como lecci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica frente a los fanatismos, las guerras o los totalitarismos de cualquier signo<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
