Nuestra hip\u00f3tesis de trabajo se basa en: amplia distribuci\u00f3n de los neurop\u00e9tidos (sustancia p) en la m\u00e9dula espinal del gato, sobre todo en astas posteriores, la sustancia por uno de los neur\u00f3pepticos implicados en el control neurol\u00f3gicode la reacci\u00f3n inflamatoria, la acci\u00f3n inmediata como antiinflamatorios de los corticoides es actual desconocida. Pensamos que el mecanismo sioqu\u00edmico por el que los corticoides actuan ser\u00e1 bloqueando la elaboraci\u00f3n de sustancia p (utilizamos el m\u00e9todo de inmunocitoqu\u00edmica indirecta para el estudio de los neurop\u00e9ptidos.
