El mundo de la creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica, como parte constitutiva de la esfera social no se ha mantenido al margen de su caudal informativo, ic\u00f3nico y ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstico. Todo ello establece un terreno propicio para un tipo de experimentaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica que puede ser considerada como pol\u00edtica por el hecho de tener lugar en el flujo televisivo, sometido a la hegemon\u00eda del poder.El estudio explora distintas experiencias que nos permiten verificar que la pr\u00e1ctica art\u00edstica no ha tenido una presencia anecd\u00f3tica en la conformaci\u00f3n del discurso televisivo o en la construcci\u00f3n de su historia, sino que ha estado \u00edntimamente ligada a su desarrollo como medio de comunicaci\u00f3n de masas y que ha jugado un papel como elemento de car\u00e1cter pol\u00edtico. Aborda asimismo las relaciones existentes entre los conceptos de \u00c2\u00bftelevisi\u00f3n\u00c2\u00bf, \u00c2\u00bfemisi\u00f3n\u00c2\u00bf, \u00c2\u00bfprogramaci\u00f3n\u00c2\u00bf, \u00c2\u00bfintervenci\u00f3n\u00c2\u00bf y \u00c2\u00bfpol\u00edtica\u00c2\u00bf, se acerca a la idea de emisi\u00f3n televisiva entendida como laboratorio de creaci\u00f3n y analiza la emisi\u00f3n televisiva como material de trabajo art\u00edstico: desde la manipulaci\u00f3n y la distorsi\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al televisiva, hasta el uso del archivo televisivo.La tesis toma como caso de estudio la obra audiovisual del artista jaime davidovich, que va desde los comienzos del video como soporte art\u00edstico en los a\u00f1os setenta, hasta sus propuestas televisivas en el sistema de
