El fundamento f\u00edsico de la deformaci\u00f3n inducida por cambpo magn\u00e9tico es la reorientaci\u00f3n  de variantes martens\u00edticas, que se generan cuando la aleaci\u00f3n sufre una transformaci\u00f3n martens\u00edtica, habitualmente por un cambio de temperatura.
