Carmen F. <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los pvh pueden estar relacionados con lesiones malignas que afectan al tracto anogenital, por ello es importante establecer su diagn\u00f3stico lo m\u00e1s precozmente posible.  objetivos  poner a punto un protocolo para la detecci\u00f3n y tipado de pvh y determinar la incidencia de la infecci\u00f3n entres grupos: pacientes sospechosos de infecci\u00f3n por pvh, coinfectados con vih o no coinfectados y pacientes sin sospecha de infecci\u00f3n.  metodos  hemos estudiado un total de 417 muestras genitales que pertenecen a 355 pacientes distribu\u00eddas en tres grupos de estudio. En todas ellas, despu\u00e9s de extraer el adn realizamos una pcr utilizando iniciadores consenso my09 y my11, que amplifican una regi\u00f3n com\u00fan de 450 pb. La tipaci\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo mediante la hibridaci\u00f3n con sondas tipo espec\u00edficas del producto amplificado y la utilizaci\u00f3n de enzimas de restricci\u00f3n.  resultados  todas las muestras positivas lo fueron por los dos m\u00e9todos de amplificaci\u00f3n. el tipo predominante en el grupo de sospechosos no coinfectados con el vih fue el pvh 6. Se encontr\u00f3 pvh 16, de alto riesgo, entre los no sospechosos de infecci\u00f3n por pvh. Existen pacientes asintom\u00e1ticos infectados. La presencia de pvh fue mayor en zonas con dilomatosas en que zonas con otro tipo de lesi\u00f3n y menor en zonas no lesionadas.  conclusiones  la pcr por su sensibilidad es apropiada para el diagn\u00f3stico de pvh en poblaciones asintom\u00e1ticas. La tipificaci\u00f3n llevada a cabo con sondas de hibridaci\u00f3n es m\u00e1s objetiva aunque m\u00e1s laboriosa. La presencia de pvh es mayor en pacinetes vih+. El estado de gestaci\u00f3n no parece favorecer la infeccion por pvh.
