En este periodo, chicos y chicas viven una serie de cambios a diferentes niveles: f\u00edsicos, sociales y psicol\u00f3gicos. La orientaci\u00f3n de metas, entendida como la intenci\u00f3n de llegar hacia un objetivo m\u00e1s o menos concreto de una determinada especificidad es una caracter\u00edstica que surge en este periodo. Igualmente, los h\u00e1bitos relacionados con la actividad f\u00edsica y las conductas sedentarias tienen peculiaridades propias en la adolescencia. Los bajos niveles de pr\u00e1ctica de actividad f\u00edsica pueden influir negativamente en el normal desarrollo del sujeto, relacion\u00e1ndose con procesos desadaptativos como el burnout, integrada por bajos niveles de eficacia y altos de agotamiento emocional y despersonalizaci\u00f3n, y yendo en direcci\u00f3n contraria de la variable engagement, integrada por correctos niveles de vigor, absorci\u00f3n y dedicaci\u00f3n. El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es valorar la influencia existente entre la orientaci\u00f3n de metas y la pr\u00e1ctica de actividad f\u00edsica y deportiva, con las variables psicol\u00f3gicas burnout y engagement en el contexto educativo, y con el rendimiento acad\u00e9mico en secundaria. La muestra elegida est\u00e1 formada por 1210 sujetos adolescentes con una edad media de 15,13 a\u00f1os, pertenecientes a centros p\u00fablicos de diferentes puntos de la regi\u00f3n de murcia. Se utilizan como instrumentos el cuestionario de metas para adolescentes (cma), una selecci\u00f3n de \u00edtems del estudio health behaviour in school-aged children (hbsc), el cuestionario de burnout-engagement y las calificaciones acad\u00e9micas. El an\u00e1lisis estad\u00edstico muestra que, el tipo de orientaci\u00f3n de metas predominante se relaciona con los niveles de burnout y engagement existentes y con el rendimiento acad\u00e9mico. De igual modo, el cumplimiento de las recomendaciones m\u00ednimas de actividad f\u00edsica se asocia positivamente con el rendimiento acad\u00e9mico y con los niveles de burnout y engagement.   abstract adolescence is considered a key period in the development of the subject. In this period, boys and girls have many changes at different levels: physical, social and psychological. The concept of goal orientation, defined as the intention to get into a more or less specific objective of a particular specificity, is a feature that emerges in this period. Likewise, habits related to physical activity and sedentary behaviors have their own peculiarities in adolescence. Low levels of physical activity may adversely affect the normal development of the subject, relating to maladaptive processes such as burnout, composed of low efficiency levels and high emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, and in the opposite direction of the variable engagement, composed of correct levels of vigor, dedication and absorption. The main objective of this study is to know the influence between goal orientation and physical activity, with psychological variables burnout and engagement psychological in the educational context, and with academic performance in high school. The selected sample consists of 1210 adolescent subjects with a mean age of 15.13 years, belonging to public schools in different parts of the region of murcia. The tools used in this project were goals questionnaire for adolescents, a selection of items from the study health behaviour in school-aged children (hbsc), the questionnaire burnout-engagement and academic qualifications. Statistical analysis shows that the predominant type of orientation goals is related to levels of burnout and engagement and with academic performance.
