Esta tesis se enmarca dentro de la colaboraci\u00f3n existente entre la empresa befesa steel r&#038;d y el departamento de ingenier\u00eda qu\u00edmica y del medio ambiente de la escuela t\u00e9cnica superior de ingenier\u00eda de bilbao. Uno de los intereses de esta empresa es el desarrollo del proceso de pir\u00f3lisis a gran escala para producir un biocoque \u00fatil como agente reductor en algunas de sus plantas industriales.Para la producci\u00f3n de s\u00f3lidos de pir\u00f3lisis que puedan ser \u00fatiles como agentes reductores en procesos metal\u00fargicos, se requiere un proceso de pir\u00f3lisis lento a altas temperaturas. Y para la producci\u00f3n de gases de alto valor a\u00f1adido, se necesita una segunda etapa (catal\u00edtica) para la valorizaci\u00f3n de los vapores de pir\u00f3lisis (eliminaci\u00f3n de alquitr\u00e1n + aumento h2\/co).Los estudios que se han llevado a cabo pueden clasificarse en cuatro tipos: (1) el primero se ha dedicado a establecer las condiciones de operaci\u00f3n adecuadas para la producci\u00f3n simult\u00e1nea de biocoque y gases de alta calidad. (2) el segundo ha consistido en un estudio comparativo de la eficacia de diferentes catalizadores para la valorizaci\u00f3n de los vapores de pir\u00f3lisis. (3) el tercer estudio se ha centrado en la evaluaci\u00f3n de la idoneidad de los biocoques como agentes reductores en aplicaciones metal\u00fargicas. (4) por \u00faltimo, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio comparativo de la influencia del tipo de biomasa en los rendimientos y productos de pir\u00f3lisis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
