Su relaci\u00f3n con la vanguardia y con la generaci\u00f3n del 27&quot;  \ten este trabajo pretendo demostrar la trascendencia en la literatura espa\u00f1ola del torero-escritor sevillano ignacio s\u00e1nchez mej\u00edas (1891-1934), que fue un importante hombre de cultura en los albores del siglo xx y una figura polifac\u00e9tica, por lo que se intenta abordar sus m\u00e1scaras m\u00e1s significativas: torero, dramaturgo, novelista, periodista, conferenciante, poeta, part\u00edcipe en la celebraci\u00f3n del centenario de g\u00f3ngora en 1927, amigo de los poetas del 27, personaje po\u00e9tico\u00c2\u00bf \ten primer lugar, estudiamos datos biogr\u00e1ficos del torero-escritor para conocer su vida, personalidad y muerte. Indagamos en su relaci\u00f3n con la generaci\u00f3n del 27, vislumbrando su verdadero papel en el centenario de g\u00f3ngora, celebrado en sevilla en 1927. Se profundiza en la imagen m\u00edtica del torero, convertido en protagonista de composiciones po\u00e9ticas escritas por luis fern\u00e1ndez ardav\u00edn, miguel hern\u00e1ndez, mariano brull, rafael alberti, benjam\u00edn p\u00e9ret, gerardo diego, domingo manfredi o federico garc\u00eda lorca. \tanalizamos la producci\u00f3n literaria del lidiador, demostrando que trat\u00f3 de innovar en muchos de sus textos. Primero se indaga en su teatro y se realiza un recorrido por el teatro espa\u00f1ol de inicios del siglo xx, para situar su producci\u00f3n dram\u00e1tica en un contexto teatral y comprobar que pretendi\u00f3 renovar la escena espa\u00f1ola de su \u00e9poca, acerc\u00e1ndose a la vanguardia. Se estudian sus piezas teatrales y se comparan con obras coet\u00e1neas y posteriores: sinraz\u00f3n, relacionada con el surrealismo, con las teor\u00edas de freud y con la locura; zaya, donde su protagonista se sumerge en la nostalgia de su pasado taurino; ni m\u00e1s ni menos, especie de auto sacramental sin sacramento, enlazado con la vanguardia; y soledad, que est\u00e1 inconclusa. Se hace un repaso de las cr\u00edticas de sus obras representadas: sinraz\u00f3n y zaya. \tse estudia su novela la amargura del triunfo, que ahonda en temas como la corrupci\u00f3n en el mundo taurino, los sinsabores de un torero\u00c2\u00bf, y se compara con otras novelas de su \u00e9poca. Se observa la introspecci\u00f3n psicol\u00f3gica del protagonista, que deja traslucir las emociones de su autor. \tse revisan otras facetas de s\u00e1nchez mej\u00edas: fue periodista en la uni\u00f3n de sevilla, en 1925, y en heraldo de Madrid, en 1929; ofreci\u00f3 conferencias en san sebasti\u00e1n, en 1928, y en nueva york, en 1929, cuyos textos son examinados; compuso con la argentinita el espect\u00e1culo flamenco las calles de c\u00e1diz, que supuso una novedad en el baile espa\u00f1ol de su tiempo; su faceta de poeta se manifiesta en el lirismo de sus textos, en una ep\u00edstola en verso que env\u00eda a coss\u00edo, y en un poema dedicado a su hija. \tadem\u00e1s, se ha contemplado la huella del torero-escritor en la actualidad, pues se han elaborado espect\u00e1culos, documentales, obras inspiradas en su vida y muerte, y homenajes, especialmente organizados por la pe\u00f1a taurina ignacio s\u00e1nchez mej\u00edas. \tpara efectuar el an\u00e1lisis de la figura de s\u00e1nchez mej\u00edas y de su producci\u00f3n literaria, se ha realizado una investigaci\u00f3n, examinando peri\u00f3dicos de la \u00e9poca, cr\u00edticas teatrales de 1928, libros, documentos y art\u00edculos de principios del siglo xx y actuales, p\u00e1ginas web; se ha visitado la sede de su pe\u00f1a taurina en manzanares y se ha entrevistado a familiares del autor y a miembros de dicha pe\u00f1a. \ten conclusi\u00f3n, ignacio s\u00e1nchez mej\u00edas fue un hombre significativo en la literatura espa\u00f1ola y en la tauromaquia de principios del siglo xx, y fue un escritor relacionado con la generaci\u00f3n del 27, que trat\u00f3 de innovar en sus obras literarias, conectando tradici\u00f3n y vanguardia e imprimi\u00e9ndoles su personalidad. He was an important man of culture in the early twentieth century and also a versatile figure, so we will attempt to address their most significant roles: bullfighter, playwright, novelist, journalist, lecturer, poet, participant in the celebration of the centenary of g\u00f3ngora in 1927, friend of the poets of the generation of &apos;27, poetic character\u00c2\u00bf. first, we will study the biographical data of the bullfighter and writer in order to know his life, personality and death. We will investigate his relationship with the generation of &apos;27, glimpsing his true role in the centenary of g\u00f3ngora, held in seville in 1927. Deepening the mythical image of the bullfighter, turned into the protagonist of poetic compositions written by luis fern\u00e1ndez ardav\u00edn, miguel hern\u00e1ndez, mariano brull, rafael alberti, benjam\u00edn p\u00e9ret, gerardo diego, domingo manfredi and federico garc\u00eda lorca.  we will analyse the literary work of the bullfighter, showing that he tried to innovate in many of his texts. First, his theatre is investigated and a review of the spanish theatre of the early twentieth century is also made in order to place his dramatic production in a theatrical context and to verify that he sought to renew the spanish scene of his time, coming at the vanguard. His plays are studied and compared with contemporaneous and subsequent works: sinraz\u00f3n, related with surrealism, freud theories and madness; zaya in which the protagonist is immersed in nostalgia for his bullfighting past; ni m\u00e1s ni menos, sort of mystery play without sacrament, linked to the forefront; and soledad, which is unfinished. A revision of the reviews of his staged plays, sinraz\u00f3n and zaya is done.  it is also studied the novel, la amargura del triunfo, which delves into issues such as corruption in the bullfighting word, the worries of a bullfighter\u00c2\u00bf this novel is contrasted with other novels of its time.
