Para poder tener una referencia del desarrollo fon\u00e9tico-fonol\u00f3gico de estos ni\u00f1os y establecer comparaciones, se ha evaluado tambi\u00e9n a un grupo de ni\u00f1os con desarrollo t\u00edpico.  la muestra se compone de 70 sujetos con s\u00edndrome de down que presentan trisom\u00eda regular. Tambi\u00e9n han sido seleccionados 80 sujetos con desarrollo t\u00edpico que han servido de grupo control. Se decidi\u00f3 trabajar con ni\u00f1os con s\u00edndrome de down en un intervalo que va de los 4 a los 10 a\u00f1os de edad y con ni\u00f1os con desarrollo t\u00edpico en un intervalo que va de los 3 a los 10 a\u00f1os de edad. Los ni\u00f1os s\u00edndrome de down presentan cocientes intelectuales situados en el intervalo que va de 69 a 40. Por otro lado, para evaluar el desarrollo fon\u00e9tico-fonol\u00f3gico de los ni\u00f1os que participan en la investigaci\u00f3n, se han utilizado el registro fonol\u00f3gico inducido y el barrido fon\u00e9tico. los resultados indican que el desarrollo fon\u00e9tico-fonol\u00f3gico de los ni\u00f1os con s\u00edndrome de down sigue un proceso similar al de los ni\u00f1os con desarrollo t\u00edpico, aunque a un ritmo m\u00e1s lento. Adem\u00e1s, hemos detectado que la edad cronol\u00f3gica y el cociente intelectual influyen en el desarrollo fon\u00e9tico-fonol\u00f3gico de los ni\u00f1os con s\u00edndrome de down. En este caso, cuanto mayor es el cociente intelectual y la edad cronol\u00f3gica, menos errores articulatorios se producen.  por \u00faltimo, creemos que el desarrollo fon\u00e9tico-fonol\u00f3gico de los ni\u00f1os con s\u00edndrome de down no puede ser explicado por la edad cronol\u00f3gica sin tener en cuenta el desarrollo cognitivo, porque ni\u00f1os con la misma edad cronol\u00f3gica y diferente nivel cognitivo, tienen un distinto desarrollo ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstico.  comparison of phonetic-phonological development of children with down syndrome and typical development: influence of maturational and cognitive aspects  abstract the main objective of this research is to understand and evaluate the phonetic-phonological development of children with down syndrome given the cognitive (intelligence quotient) and maturational aspects (chronological age). To have a reference to the phonetic-phonological development of these children and make comparisons, has also evaluated a group of children with typical development. the sample consists of 70 subjects with down syndrome presenting regular trisomy. They have also been selected 80 subjects with typical development have served as control group. It was decided to work with children with down syndrome in an interval ranging from 4 to 10 years of age and children with typical development in a range of from 3 to 10 years old. Down syndrome children have intelligence quotients located in the range of 69 to 40. Moreover, to evaluate the phonetic-phonological development of children involved in the research, analyzed the induced phonological register and sweep phonetic. the results indicate that the phonetic-phonological development of children with down syndrome is similar to that of children with typical development, although at a pace slower process. Also, we found that chronological age and intelligence quotient influence the phonetic-phonological development of children with down syndrome. In this case, the higher the intelligence quotient and chronological age, less articulatory errors. finally, we believe that the phonetic-phonological development of children with down syndrome can&apos;t be explained by chronological age regardless of cognitive development, because children with the same chronological age and cognitive level differently, have a different language
