La precipitaci\u00f3n de studtita en la superficie del combustible podr\u00eda tener un efecto protector\/inhibidor del proceso de corrosi\u00f3n adem\u00e1s de controlar la movilidad de los radionucleidos retenidos en la matriz del combustible. Durante su precipitaci\u00f3n quedar\u00e1n retenidos en su estructura tanto los iones presentes en el agua subterr\u00e1nea como los radionucleidos liberados del combustible. Su estabilidad frente a las condiciones presentes en un almac\u00e9n (campos de radiacci\u00f3n, temperatura,..)
