(2005). La evaluaci\u00f3n de la depresi\u00f3n ha sido realizada mediante la escala ces-d (center for epidemiologic studies-depressionscale) y la entrevista estructurada para la evaluaci\u00f3n de trastornos emocionales (mini) international neuropsychiatric interview. Versi\u00f3n en espa\u00f1ol 5.0.0. las conclusiones que hemos obtenido reflejan que la sintomatolog\u00eda depresiva de los distintos componentes en los seis grupos de s\u00edntomas var\u00eda en funci\u00f3n del g\u00e9nero, el pa\u00eds y el tipo de poblaci\u00f3n (normal, subcl\u00ednica y cl\u00ednica), as\u00ed como en la interacci\u00f3n entre estos valores.  abstract this thesis, entitled \u00c2\u00bfdifferences in depressive symptoms by gender : a cross-cultural study conducted with sample paths of spain and cuba\u00c2\u00bf aims to conduct a cross-cultural study of depression comparing samples of the countries of spain and cuba and analyze gender differences in self-reported depressive symptomatology considering the cultural implications in individual samples. depressive symptomatology is represented in six groups of symptoms (physical , interpersonal, motivational , affective , behavioral and cognitive ) , differentiating according to the type of population (normal, clinical and subclinical ) , gender differences and the manifestation of depressive symptoms at different stages of adult development established in three age ranges in both cultures . this study was conducted on 820 adult subjects populations of spain and cuba . To analyze differences in depressive symptoms , we used the inventory of depressive symptoms , prepared by riquelme et al. ( 2005). The depression assessment was conducted by the scale center for epidemiologic studies depression (center for epidemiologic studies- depressionscale , ces- d). And the structured interview for the assessment of emotional disorders (mini ) international neuropsychiatric interview .
